Donations

We are very grateful for all donations given to St Nicholas. Below are the different ways that you can contribute to our Church.

Standing Orders

If you wish to give regular donations to St Nicholas, please download the Standing Order Mandate.
Please complete the form
and send to your bank. Alternatively, using the St Nicholas bank details on the Standing Order form you may be able to access on-line banking and set up the standing order yourself.

Please remember that if you are a UK tax payer you can use Gift Aid to increase your offering. For details of how Gift Aid can increase your donation please go to our Gift Aid information page. Please download a Gift Aid declaration form, fill it in and return it to Stewart Rogerson c/o St Nicholas Parish Church, 209 Main Street, Prestwick KA9 1LH.

Freewill Envelopes

We strongly recommend that, rather than donate with cash you contribute to the Church using a standing order. Please look at the Standing Orders section above for details of how to change your donation to a regular Standing Order donation.

If you wish to continue donating using Freewill Offering envelopes, please put your normal offering aside each week in the dated envelope and hand them in each Sunday.

On-Line Donations

The Church of Scotland has launched a new online donations system to allow anyone wishing to donate to an individual church or more generally to the Church of Scotland.

It might be helpful to print off this page to follow the instructions.

If you wish to make a donation either to the national funds of the Church of Scotland or to an individual congregation please visit this page, https://www.churchofscotland.org.uk/donate and go to Step 1.

Step 1. Decide which type of donation you wish to make.

If you wish to donate to the Church of Scotland general fund then click on the "Donate to our general fund" button and go to Step 2.

Step 2 Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer and wish to increase your offering by using Gift Aid, please ensure that the green button is on against "Yes, I am a UK tax payer ...", enter your details and move to Step 3.
